Guided by imagination and grounded in craft, Priscilla Martinez creates contemporary jewelry that balances tension: bold and delicate, modern yet timeless. Her work begins at the jeweler’s bench, where gold and silver wire, semiprecious stones, and essential tools become extensions of her vision. Each piece is a quiet rebellion against the ordinary—unexpected silhouettes, layered textures, and subtle imperfections that invite a second look.
With over two decades of experience as a performer, designer, and businesswoman, Martinez has long been a force in the fashion and jewelry world. She helped spearhead San Antonio’s inaugural Fashion Week in 2009 and was honored with a Rising Star Award from Fashion Group International of San Antonio the following year for her work with joyarte. Her designs have appeared on regional runways, CD covers, and red carpets—including the TV Guide After Emmy Party, the Maxim Super Bowl Party, and Sundance NextFest. Her work has been featured in galleries, boutiques, and art fairs across North America.
In 2019, Priscilla launched Priscilla Laurel Jewelry, a collection created for women who embrace bold, sculptural statement pieces. These dramatic works frequently graced red carpets and runways, including a multimedia runway performance during Fashion Week San Antonio. Produced and choreographed by Priscilla herself, the event merged dance, fashion, and jewelry into a visually arresting contemporary ballet, featuring classically trained dancers and models adorned in her unforgettable designs.
In 2021, she was invited by iconic couture designer Natalia Fedner to accessorize Fedner’s metal mesh collection for runway shows at both Miami Swim Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week. This high-profile collaboration marked a turning point for Priscilla: the merging of her two jewelry collections—joyarte and Priscilla Laurel Jewelry—into a single, unified vision under the eponymous brand, Priscilla Martinez.
Now working with a team of skilled craftspeople, Priscilla has expanded into fine jewelry, designing with high karat gold and precious stones while continuing to offer demi-fine collections in gold fill, sterling silver, and richly plated finishes. Her work remains rooted in texture, movement, and fluid silhouettes—brought to life through luminous metal and vibrant gemstones.
At the heart of her process lies a deep connection to storytelling. Priscilla draws from personal experiences and the natural world to create cohesive collections with thoughtful motifs that invite emotion and memory. Her clients often describe being moved by her designs—especially when custom work honors a milestone or commemorates a loved one. This intimate exchange between artist and wearer is what makes her jewelry more than adornment; it becomes a meaningful keepsake. Through her dedication and heart, Priscilla continues to forge lasting connections—one piece at a time.
